"Trent, please! Stop this! Fight it!" Gabe cried, his voice echoing in the small elevator. He grabbed Trent's waist from behind, his hands slipping on the residue of the penthouse, desperately trying to break the hypnotic lock. He thought that if he could just keep Trent grounded, keep him aware, they might survive whatever Marcus was doing.

But as he held him, Gabe felt a sudden, terrifying change. Under his palms, Trent’s skin wasn't warm flesh anymore. The heat was draining away, replaced by an unnatural, creeping cold.

It started on Trent's powerful biceps and the rigid line of his jaw. The skin lost its color, turning a flat, dead grey, before rapidly darkening into a deep, lustrous black. It wasn't just skin; it was turning to solid, polished obsidian. The transformation raced across his flesh like spreading ink, a glossy dark sheen sealing the massive muscles into permanent rigidity.

"No... no, no, no!" Gabe screamed, stumbling back as the black stone expanded.

The dark marble swept over Trent's chest, petrifying the thick hair and turning his straining pectorals into perfectly sculpted mineral. The sticky residue of his orgasms was left pearly white and wet against the dark, glossy stone of his torso. The transformation cascaded down his abs, locking his heavy, aroused member into a permanent, hard salute of black marble.

"Trent, look at me! Babe, please!" Gabe scrambled back toward him, his hands clutching at Trent’s back and chest, trying to somehow warm the stone, to pull the man back from the abyss.

But it was too late. The black tide climbed over Trent’s lips, preserving his silent, dreamy smile in eternal stone. It flooded his glassy eyes, turning them to sightless, polished orbs, and finally petrified the golden curls on his head into heavy clusters of black marble.

The transformation was absolute. Within seconds, the man Gabe loved was entirely gone, replaced by a hundreds-of-pounds masterpiece of shimmering black stone, locked forever in a flex of triumphant, adoring submission.

Gabe stood there, shaking, his hands pressed against the cold, unyielding chest of the statue. He let out a ragged sob, the reality of the nightmare crushing him under the yellow light.

Suddenly, the elevator gave a jarring lurch. The floor beneath them groaned, and the indicator panel hummed to life. They weren't going up. The elevator was descending, fast.

Gabe, frantic and desperate, tried one last time to move the statue. He grabbed the stone waist, throwing all his weight backward, trying to tilt Trent so he wouldn't be left behind. But Gabe had no idea of the true, impossible weight of the transformation.

As he pulled, the statue's center of gravity shifted. The massive, solid marble figure began to tilt backward, straight toward him.

"Wait—"

Gabe lost his footing. He fell backward onto the hard metal floor, and the black marble statue of Trent followed, crashing down directly on top of him. The weight was monumental. The cold, heavy stone of Trent's torso pinned Gabe’s chest, while the petrified weight of Trent's hips and rigid member trapped Gabe’s legs.

Gabe let out a strangled gasp, the air forced from his lungs. He lay pinned beneath the crushing weight of his partner's frozen perfection, staring up at the unblinking, smiling face of the black statue.

The elevator beeped twice—a cheerful, clinical sound—and came to a smooth stop.

The doors hissed open, revealing the freezing, purple-lit depths of Level -5: the Archive.

Standing in the doorway was Boris, his massive frame flanked by two other large workers. Boris looked down at the pile on the elevator floor—at the magnificent, newly minted black marble statue of Trent, and the broken, gasping man trapped beneath it.

"There you are," Boris said, a slow, predatory grin spreading across his face as he stepped into the elevator. "Come on, Gabe. Don't look so down. You have some very important business to discuss with the boss."
