I think something sorta clicked for my understanding of light in these drawings. not saying I did a great job (I can tell it's still very muddy and inconsistent) but I feel like that part of my drawing process has been illuminated, no pun intended.
theory in art isn't very insightful on its own, i find most theory clicks in a way i wouldn't have ever predicted from just reading about it a book. the best advice is "just draw" and anyone online who you hear countering "just draw" is likely just feeding of your attention and clicks.
