We’ve reached the end, folks!
It wasn’t a very long journey, but creating one page per week has definitely been a challenge. Still… it was absolutely worth it. I’m incredibly happy with the warm reception this little comic has received, and I’m truly grateful for your support and encouragement throughout the whole process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for staying with me until the final page. ❤️
At first, I considered reusing the cover art in its naked and wet version, but in the end I preferred to stay consistent with the style of the comic. So I created a completely new illustration, slightly changed the pose and adjusted the point of view. Yes, it made the work much longer… but the result is so much more satisfying!
After the initial rough, I refined the sketch by adding more background details. like their underwear 🔥
For previous backgrounds I used a predefined palette and painted them without layers, using quick gradients and brushstrokes to keep the focus on the characters. This time, however, the background had many more details, so I changed the same approach used for the characters:
flat colors for the background
a Multiply shadow layer
a Color Dodge light layer
an Overlay layer for reflections
