Hallöchen! Happy to announce that Road Trip Pt 4 is progressing again :> If all goes well I'm hoping to finish it up sometime next week
Mostly during my "break" from working on this I've been preparing for conventions & completing commissions. I've mentioned this on stream but after my last 4 from my queue are done I'll be taking a break from comms for an indeterminate amount of time (probably like 1 or 2 months) to instead focus the majority of my time on...making videos! :D I've talked about this in previous posts but basically YouTube has become an increasingly unreliable source of income for me within the past year or so, hence why I've been focusing more on commissions & convention stuff lately (partly also due to burnout because of course lol) But I really don't wanna give up on it just yet, so I'm planning to use my income from cons this month to spend the whole of June + July just focusing on making videos! So if there's any videos or types of videos you'd like to see from me, I'd love to know :>
I'm also kind of considering getting some kind of assistant to help out with mostly just the storytime-style videos, nothing too crazy I still wanna illustrate/animate/edit everything myself but I think having someone help me plan out the visuals might help me get over the roadblocks I often hit with making those types of videos, and as long as it's just rough sketches/ideas rather than proper detailed storyboarding it shouldn't be too expensive maybe :'D So yeah in short, if all goes well, expect lots of new videos over the next two months or so! :D Truthfully this will be sort of an experiment, because in all honesty I may need to reconsider how much time I spent making videos vs other things that are more reliable :'D But it's also possible that it'll go really well and I can make YouTube my main thing again :> My streaming schedule should become less infrequent again soon too, this week was a little rough for me but I'm doing better now and after the cons I should be able to get back into my regular 2 streams per week :>
