This was supposed to post yesterday, but I got completely swept away by Eddie's story and needed one more evening to get it right.
Also... it's a trilogy now.

I know, I know. What was supposed to be a two-part snapshot has grown into three because I went down a research rabbit hole and fell in love with these characters. Eddie deserves to have their full story told, and I couldn't rush it just to hit a target word count.
This installment is 9,700 words with 13 images. Fair warning: it definitely starts out as a war story - both external and internal. Port Moresby in 1943 was brutal, and Eddie's inner conflict is just as intense as what's happening around them. But by the end of Part 2, it becomes something different. Something I hope feels authentic to the time and the people living through it.
I've done so much research for this (which I love). I hope it reads as real, even though the characters themselves are fiction.
Thank you for your patience with the delay and with me turning a snapshot into something much bigger. Eddie grabbed me by the throat and won't let go.
Part 3 will wrap up his story. I promise. 💕
