Nikki is back at the stadium.
The same bleachers. The same field. The same guys she used to lead onto it every Friday night. Zach is down there too, which is... fine. That's a totally normal observation that he is there. Why wouldn't he be there!? Moving on.
She's just here for moral support. For a friend who needs a little push. She's absolutely, one hundred percent staying in the bleachers.

This one was so much fun to write. There's something deeply cruel and deeply satisfying about putting Nikki Palmer back on her own turf and watching her try - and I mean really TRY - to keep it together. Her football brain doesn't exactly have an "off" switch.
Plus, a familiar face spots her from across the field. 😈
This episode is called "Home Turf" for a reason. And by the end of it, nothing will be quite the same.
