DESCRIPTION
This one means a lot to me. Edie's story started as a simple idea - a B-17 crew, a pinup girl, a drawn straw - and grew into something I really didn't expect. Three parts, nearly 33,000 words, and a character I'll carry with me for a long time.
I put together this little video as a celebration of Edie and everything she found in Port Moresby in 1943 and later in Japan - community, identity, and Walt. 😊
The beginning is audio from another B-17 called The Memphis Belle. The song is "Some Days" by Ira Wolf - one of my favorite singer-songwriters.
