In Chapter 6, Hans ventures beyond the walls of Castle Salgen and into the city itself. But the world outside isn't quite what he expected - and neither are the people in it.
This is a slow burn, the way all the best fantasy is (in my most humble of opinions 😉) - and Zoe is a master storyteller. Every chapter peels back another layer of this world and the people living in it, and by the time you reach the end of this one, you won't want to stop reading.
Working with Zoe on this continues to be one of my favorite creative projects. Her writing is fantastic, and I'm really in love with bringing her world to life with the art.
