DESCRIPTION

On Earth, she was a man, a killer, a weapon. New Eden made her something else.

When I wrote the original Echoes of Eve, I had no idea it would officially become a sci-fi trilogy! This one is 30 pages and 17 illustrations (I couldn't stop myself)!

Echoes of Eve: Rewilding is written by patron Alexandra, aka SynGirl - and I love what she's done with this world. My amazing friend Helena Grace expanded it beautifully with Pink Slip, and now Alexandra has taken it somewhere new again.

I wanted the art for this one to feel different - to match the tone Alexandra brought to her story. So I went back to the technique I first developed for one brief image in The Catch and later refined for Taylor Made. Basically, a Daz Studio render gives me the base for the human figures - essential for consistency because I'm not that good at drawing - but then I take the render into Procreate and Photoshop and work over the top with charcoal and color pencil brushes on my Wacom tablet. The result is a blend of render and hand-drawn 2D art that sits somewhere between illustration and comic. I hope you love it as much as I loved making it. I got a little obsessive.

I hope Rewilding finds a place in your heart the way the original found one in mine. 💕
