June is here and we are back to telling the story of our temporary secretary. Above you can see the schedule for the month. It's a little off from the voting. I'm taking some liberties, so I can end this round on a nice even number for Secretarial. Then late in the month, we'll jump back to Ladies' Knight.
Personal Life Update
I'm happy to report that I don't have anything to report. My mom is back to being fully independent. Still recovering because it's a long road. My sis moved houses. And I fell and got mildly injured and sick. But nothing that effects anything beyond my immediate sphere. It's been nice getting back into the mundane where I can think and focus on fun stuff once more.
Secretarial Thoughts
I've started to play around with a new name for the story. "Secretarial" has always been a placeholder. With starting to draw and post before writing everything, something may arrive that will give me a better idea on what the title should be.
As for Bree's recent lapse, it's likely a trade of some kind effecting her. We'll learn more about it as we continue. I've been playing around with one more large trade for her. But still sorting it out. Do you want to see one more big thing, or think she's good where she is.
Granted that big thing won't make her a Twi'lek like in the art above. But who knows what can happen with the tech in the future! That said, Bree is very outgoing when it comes to Halloween. So much that she's willing to take on multiple trades to have a convincing costume. If any of my girls are going to become pro-cosplayers and not look back, it's probably going to be her.
Movies/Comics/Pop Culture
As I'm getting back to normal, I'm starting to get time to go see movies or read some books and comics. Watched Project Hail Mary over the weekend. It was great. I loved it, and it's a author/screen writer/director combination that I really like.
I'm interested in a bunch of things recently out or will be out soon. Backrooms is very intriguing. Friends were telling me about Obsession, but I remember that episode of Buffy. I want to see Mortal Kombat II, but at this point I'm sure it will be on-demand soon.
Comic-wise DC has really been pitching some strong comics. I picked up Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, and All-In Zatanna. I wanted to pick up some X-Men, or Spiderman, but I didn't know where there currently jumping in point is, or which graphic novel.
I haven't been watching anything serious on TV. I do really like Dropout with Game Changer and Um, Actually. Maybe I'll have to flirt with an inspired one shot sometime.
Now that I'm getting a change to relax a bit, what do you think I should watch or read?
Ladies' Knight for All
Are you hearing about Ladies' Knight and haven't been able to access it to read? Starting late this month, or early next month, I'm going to be starting to release it for free for all readers. It will be censored for content. But the uncensored version will always be available here for all paid members, or to anyone who choses to purchase the issues separately.
The free version of Ladies' Knight will likely release pages about 6 months behind the paid member version of the story. It's a lot larger of a gap that Open Trade was. Meanwhile Secretarial and other stories will remain exclusive to our paid members.
