This weekend was beautiful weather for us, but it was starting to trend towards the slightly too warm. Today is rainy and thundery, giving us a little break from the heat. I love it here! Most people here in the states also get to have today off so they can do barbeques or whatnot. I'm tempted to also take the day off, and just be cozy indoors with some games while the storm rolls overhead.
What does that mean for you guys? Nothing, because I'll still be drawing and putting up a comic this Friday. It just means I'm gonna be cozy and take it easy today, but only today. Also it sounds like our friends might be doing one o' them barbeques tonight.

This weekend I actually did a fair bit of planning and plotting on the God Slayers side of things. Max needs way more love, so I sketched a bunch to see what that looks like, and I'm happy with it, so we'll be hanging out with Max for the next month or so. I think I realized it's important to provide some more context as to why it's not easy for Max to simply run away from what's obviously an incredibly toxic situation. Were he the type of person to simply live for just himself, he would have left a long time ago. But as we've long established, Kuserra doesn't deserve someone like Max.
