As an attempt to make up for the lack of Archives Posts this month, I am now setting a goal to post three a day for the rest of September, which will end up making up for most of the month.
For today's THIRD post, here's Twili Zelda, a piece from early 2023! Most of you have probably seen her before, but as usual, I hope even some familiar artwork on your feed is enough to brighten up your day a little bit.
ARTIST NOTES:
For the purposes of the Archives, I divided each drawing up into whatever variants they had, and designated a day for each specific variant. I realize I'm playing a little fast and loose with that rule by making this version of Twili Zelda a "separate" variant, but hey, more Twili Zelda on the feed is never a bad thing... right?
Anyway, what makes this version different from the original is that her skirt has been removed, leaving only the flap that I'm calling a "loin cloth" here. Unfortunately I never made alternates accounting for every single version of the loin cloth, so we don't have versions of her without her headpiece, and so on, but I hope you enjoy her!
I think the lack of a skirt definitely makes her feel a bit more exotic. Would TP Zelda be absolutely mortified wearing this? Yes, but putting characters into unlikely scenarios is exactly what fan art is for, right?
