Okay sweet friends, you have pledged to support me and in return I intend to give you some glorious behind the scenes of my gorgeous process.
To kick us off, here's a shoddily edited 'Coca Cola Lime Light'. I wrote this lyric into Light Touch because thought it sounded kind of catchy, and just assumed this drink must exist. It wasn't until a few days before shooting the video that I realised it technically did exist once, but hasn't been available to actually buy since about 2006, and even then exclusively in continental Europe (see second picture). As I definitely live in Miami FL (and maybe more importantly, not in 2006), sourcing this would prove tricky.
There followed some frantic photoshopping to make something that we could actually shoot to sell the line. I made three different sizes because I didn't know how big a coke bottle label actually was and I was too lazy to measure it. I just banked on one of these fitting. Turns out it was the long thin one, and even then it wasn't actually long enough, so we wrapped it around a diet coke bottle and hid the gap in the back. In the video you're actually seeing printed computer paper from a printer that was running out of ink. But admit it, you would never have guessed...
