Sketches of the cut version of “Bath day” 🛁👁️
Today we want to share an old idea that never made it into the game.
Remember the “Bath Day” scene with the Overseer? Originally, we planned to expand that moment much further.
The idea was that he wouldn’t remain the only observer. Over time, other inhabitants of the ship were meant to take part in the scene — turning it into an episode of a completely different scale.
We even started working on the visuals and made the first line arts.
But at some point, it became clear this would require a whole separate direction of its own. In the end, we decided to focus on the main story.
The scene itself stayed in the game in a more compact form — while this version became part of the archive.
