FM26 "Custom Save-Games and other Scenarios (26.05.26) UPDATE
DESCRIPTION

Hi everyone,

As promised, here is a deeper look into my long-term saves.

They already include a large part of my planned July Update. So, for once, the uploaded setups are actually ahead of the real update. This should also make it a bit easier for you to understand the changes once I explain the July Update in more detail.

I have to disappoint you a little: those detailed explanations are not coming just yet. But you are of course welcome to analyse the saves yourself. Maybe you will discover one or two interesting things that could hint at a new mod. coughmore realistic transfers cough ;)

I have uploaded two different savegames in different in-game years.

The Extended Setup Extremely Large is by far the largest savegame I have ever simulated. It should already give you a very good overview of what my mods are doing in terms of worldwide balancing.

The Extremely Small setup was then a test save with adjustments based on my analysis of the large savegame.

Tested Setups

I tested two different setups:

Extremely Small

Extended Setup Very Large

Both were simulated with full detail.

Extremely Small

The CA numbers are extremely consistent.

Savegame years checked:

2025 – start

2031

2046

Very Large

This save is slightly older, but still newer than the June Update, especially regarding the CA adjustments.

Compared to the start year 2026, the CA numbers drop very slightly in 2031. I have already adjusted this in the newer version.

In 2043, the CA numbers are too high, even though they are fine in smaller setups.

A bit of context

In general, the game world in long-term saves is within a realistic range.

This includes transfer fees, salaries, club reputations and CA values.

At this point, I have to clearly say that I like the result in the smaller setup better than in the large one.

I have already made several improvements in the smaller setup compared to the large one, but this only partly explains the big gap in CA values.

This is something I will have to analyse more closely after the release of the WC Update.

As of today, I assume that some playable nations in the Extended Setup Very Large are too strong in player development, whether directly through money, facilities or something similar.

As already mentioned, the result should already be better balanced with the adjustments I have made.

However, I suspect that both the number of selected nations and the detail level could lead to different results.

To clearly determine this, however, I need at least one month of time.

If this suspicion is confirmed, I will probably choose a “middle way”.

This means that in smaller setups, the target would be for CA values to be slightly lower than at the start in the long term, and in very large setups slightly higher.

The hope would be that the values in a medium-sized setup are more or less identical.

But for now, these are just my thoughts. :)

Today’s WC Update and further tests will bring more clarity.

Maybe the difference can also be explained differently, and I will come to a different solution.

As already said, there are arguments for both test saves that they could be realistic.

So it is not “wrong” per se.This is it for now:) There is a lot of work ahead for me during the World Cup and summer heat. I think I need a real ingame editor to boost my own attributes like stamina XD CheersDaveincidextended setup very large:2026:https://www.mediafire.com/file/g4p679wingwb9sl/extended_setup_very_large_experimental_July_update_2026.fm/file2031:https://www.mediafire.com/file/ix8i0by21nvamrz/extended_setup_very_large_experimental_July_update_2031.fm/file2043:https://www.mediafire.com/file/k77ue2x5oindx8x/extended_setup_very_large_experimental_July_update_2043.fm/filesetup extremely small:
