The posing of scene 36 is ongoing.
I haven't progressed as much as I wanted this week. As the scene gets hotter, the poses get more difficult to put together. The only good news is that Jack and Eve's clothes are dropping to the ground quickly, and I am almost out of simulation hell. I have reached shot #77, and a big third of the scene is posed. I render as I progress, and the first 59 shots are rendered. A couple of them will need some editing or some rerendering, but it's no big deal.
The soundtrack is progressing too.
I also worked on the music some more. The more I progress through the scene, the more I think I need more tracks. The good news, however, is that most of these tracks will be shared by multiple paths.
I'm considering writing a "dream pop rock" song to replace the ballad on which the characters dance during the evening of day 6. That song is supposed to make a comeback in scene 36. Most of you probably guessed that the song is supposed to be something like "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer. The track I currently use is from an online sound bank, and if it isn't that bad, it still fails to recreate that dreamy moment I was trying to create. So I'm considering trying to write my own song, just like I did for "Summer Scent" and "Heatwave Confession".
Aside from that, I have about 80 % of the first instrumental track of that update. It still needs some work, but I think I have something solid.
I just had an upgrade to my music gear that will dramatically ease the process. I'm confident we can do some nice stuff with the soundtrack.
The quick sum up.
V0.6.8 will contain 4 scenes: Day 6 Scene 36, 37, 38, and 39.
Day 6 Scene 36 has been written.
197 shots are planned, 77 are posed, and 59 are rendered.
6239 words of new content so far.
I'm currently working on posing scene 36 and composing the music.
