Hello everyone,
We’ve got a handful of model updates for you this week that we hope you’ll appreciate. Today we’re releasing new OPR Tokens, and some more options for two of our more popular Titan Models in order to bring them more in line with their unit rules: The Alien Hives - Hive Titan and the Robot Legions - Great Monolith (Formerly known as the Chained Tyrant.) Let's take a look at each of them, below.
UPDATE (April 27th, 2026): New Flat Bottom versions of the token has also been added to the new token pack in order make them more FDM printing friendly.
New 2D and 3D OPR Tokens
While we were working on Grimdark Future: Broken Truth, we had the chance to revisit the OPR token pack and update and modernize the look. Those of you who are just now receiving the Broken Truth Battle Box or picking up the new 2-Player Starter Set may have noticed that the tokens have new designs.
So to keep things consistent, we’ve also updated both the 2D printable tokens that you can download for free on our website as well as the 3D Printable tokens that are available in the Welcome Pack as well as purchasable on our MyMiniFactory page.
We’ve only updated the newest Welcome Pack to include the new versions of the tokens, so those of you with older welcome packs will still be able to download the older token sets if you need to print more that match your existing token collection.
Alien Hives - Hive Titan
The Hive Titan is always an impressive centerpiece to place on the table, and with the Transport upgrade, can be a pivotal part of your army’s front line. To help represent this on the model, we’ve added six new Grunt models that you can attach to your Titan, showing the hive swarming from the massive beast.
You can use as many or few of these as you like when you assemble your Hive Titan, and with some creative basing choices, these grunts can also be used to add more poses to your Grunt Squads which I sure is a welcome addition to a squad that often runs in packs of 20 on the table.
Robot Legions - Great Monolith
The Robot Legions Chained Tyrant is now the Great Monolith. We’ve adjusted the scale of the Technowards for this kit, making them smaller. These were always meant to be ‘tokens’ to represent the Technoward upgrades for the unit, much in the way other heroes have optional companion models. We’ve also changed to models to have swarms of nano bots floating them instead of their old legs.
What about the Chained Tyrant? The original idea for this model was to Our original plan was to make the Chained Tyrant into one of our Narrative Heroes for the Robot Legion, but we haven’t quite gotten there yet. Instead we have released several other Narrative Heroes for the faction. So now the Great Monolith has a new Technomancer, and the Chained Tyrant is now an optional model you can use instead. Who knows? The Chained Tyrant might appear in a story or campaign in the future and you’ll already have a mini ready.
But don’t worry, the old versions of the model are still included in the kit on MyMiniFactory if you prefer the old style of Technowards.
These are all already updated on MyMiniFactory, so if you already have these models you can download them right away from your MMF libraries!
Happy Wargaming!- OPR Team
