Didn't think I'd own one of these in my artist career, but I managed to win an auction for one of these display tablets, it's basically a huge monitor you can draw on.
The main kicker is that these can go for around $450/£419 brand new, but I got a steal on this one from an auction, I hope the seller goes through with posting it, otherwise, I will end up buying one regardless since there is a sale going on.
While I am very used to drawing on a small graphics tablet, I have had thoughts about upgrading my setup for the better, I would love to be more productive in terms of drawing, where my drawing on a screen will also transition into drawing some traditional art (that I will mention in a minute)
I am hoping this will help me become more productive and break the comfort zone I am that I think is pretty lackluster.
In other news, I plan on going to Scotiacon in February 2025, I already have a room booked, so my plans are just simply enjoying the con with my boyfriend while suiting up as usual, all while meet and hang with people. One of the main things I have always wanted to do is submit some traditional artwork to the auction/artshow to be sold.
I still have my traditional tools and a few ideas, so I will be dedicating a week or so getting one main piece I have been working on, I'll post it here also but the main idea is that I want to make things that you would like to hang up on a wall, but still make it furry themed.
Oh, and that doesn't stop me from drawing traditional art NSFW stuff, that is always fun.
