Hello Friends!

I'm alive and well here - just head down working on many great things. My passion for making replacers and followers has blown up again and I'm making a lot of changes to the systems I've created in the past. More unique Patreon-only followers are coming, but read below for the things on the near horizon.

Recast

A couple years ago a neat tool called SkyPatcher came out. Its what really got me into learning how to make SKSE mods of my own. I started making replacers that worked with SkyPatcher's NPC Visual Copy feature. It was the best way to create replacers that didn't touch vanilla NPC records or records of followers made by other people (and require constant updating on my part).

Over that time I recommended a lot of folks to SkyPatcher with mixed results. Some folks had zero issues with it, while others couldn't get it to work. The final group were those that refused to use it. It wasn't until recently that I looked into it a bit more and realized I should make my own visual NPC replacer with SKSE/C++.

So, I learned exactly how Skyrim handles template faces like bandits and guards and used the same mechanism - part of Skyrim's own functionality - to get the job done - but this time in an SKSE C++ plugin. What resulted was a small DLL that could do a lot more in the visual replacement category while being bulletproof and bug-free. I'll leave the full explanation of Recast for you to read on the mod page, but believe me this is a nice improvement and I hope you enjoy it. I'll be updating all my SkyPatched replacers and followers to Recast over the coming weeks. Expect better performance and more reliability.

Karla Raven - The Revenant

A voice actress was hired and paid! She has about 40% of the lines done so far. That said, its a big mod. My most ambitious follower yet. I can't wait to unleash her upon you poor souls! MUAHAHA!

Romantasy Update

Now that Romantasy has been out for a while and I've gotten some great feedback, I'll be putting the finishing touches on the public release and new features I've added. Here are some of the new things coming:

Faction Tool - add Romantasy factions to an NPC while in game!

Updated UI and Fixes

Updates to Foundation NPC Replacer and Follower Builder

I've got some updates for both of my recently released applications making them more powerful while still being easy to use. I've also fixed some bugs.

Ambellina, Red Sonja and other Voiced Followers

Yes, they are coming! Hang in there.
