Dr. Sam Wagner, after being spurned by his colleagues for his radical ideas, undertakes the creation of a transformation serum on his own... using his own body as the test subject. Growing increasingly obsessed, he rushes to complete his work before his hands become too pawlike to hold the apparatus, and his voice too distorted to dictate his findings to the tape recorder.
