(First image is final result, 2nd is before/ the progression!)Heyo, so a few months ago I got a fursuit partial from aspenmoss (very affordable). I couldn't justify paying the normal rates a good partial goes for so I opted for a cheaper option. The fur/hair looked great but I could tell I was going to have to do some edits, to get her headshape and eyes to look just right.And boy did I spend a lot of time on edits. In short: I split a bunch of seams, removed the ear foam, put in a new 3d printed I ordered online, cut away extra fur around the ears, sewed and glued it back up, removed the eyes, bought new eyes and mesh on etsy, carved out the foam to put in the new eyes, shaved down all her fur to a short length, (a lot of work, fur everywhere)fitted her eyes in, glued them,realized the ears were wrong, cut and re-glued them, carefully cut and glued felt eyelashes on, glued magnets to the eyelids and made them detachable, put felt and fur on the eyelids, Shaved off the old eyebrows, put on new eyebrows,3D printed some piercings,pinned them to her, thinned out the chin, carved out the foam and pulled/glued it back to be smaller, sewed up the last of the open stitches in the neck, shaped a foam inside the hair tuft,Oh and curated her little outfit as best I could!Again, I am super thankful I was able to get a partial where the furpattern was exactly what I wanted. Looking back I probably spent way too much time editing it, but I'm glad I was able to get it to a point where I was happy with it. Fursuit makers are a different breed.
