I have been traveling lately. I am finally at my destination, I've been here a week. It's not been easy, settling in. But it is exciting, living somewhere new, if only temporarily. When I look at these photos, the only thing of interest to me is the lighting, and how I underutilized it with such an odd masculine look. The house is old, an early water mill converted in to a home. I shot an appropriately themed look on the outside with the water mill, which will come later, but I feel like I don't like how at odds this modern masculine look feels with the old ornate lamp and mirror. The jacket comes off completely in part 2, and you'll see how I should have utilized the space with orange lamp light by the wall better than this couch, and perhaps leaned into a more whimsical look with a sheer nightgown instead. Regardless, I am a fan of the coloring, at least.
