Hello again!
Today we gonna take a small break from all the wild garlic dreamland. Let me take you to a place straight out of a horror movie... This time I mean it literally.
In this lonely old cottage, located in the middle of the forest was filmed a Polish horror movie - "Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight" - which is where I got the title for this series (it should be available on Netflix).
I watched it a few years ago but I must admit - it didn't made a huge impression on me. That being said - the location, where it was filmed was so cool. It's an old forester's lodge surrounded by old and huge trees.
I often get many questions if I ever experienced anything paranormal during shooting and I always say that I get chills sometimes but nothing truly paranormal. This time was different.
I started taking photos not in the main house but another builing that was on the property - you can see it in the first pistures. My camera is set to look for my face and focus on it while taking a series of photos. This time that was really hard because it kept creating a focus point in the dark entrance (in the lower right corner, when I was posing in the attic window). That never happened to me before. Sure - I lost focus sometimes but not so repeatedly.
This is where the idea of painting a shadowy figure there - to honour something that might accompany me during this photoshoot.
And do you believe in paranormal?
Love, Erinthul.
