Grasshopper defeated.
DESCRIPTION

Grasshopper combat is now completed. Along with all the sounds and placement locations and all that. Turned out nicely; there's a bit of a theme to the fight besides the actual moves themselves. A cash exchange kinda theme, if you know what I mean. One of the drops the defeated foe will give is Gnome dollars, which will be used for another recipe I'll eventually throw into the scene.

Along with being able to apply Loaded to itself; like Sproutette, the grasshopper can also apply Lingering pain to Pixie as well as Suffocating... The same debuff Pixie can apply on the ememy using Squeeze.

As for the next Downloadable Update, it should be out anytime within this next week. A few days or something. I'll be adding to the scene an elite version of the caterpillar after that, so I wanna get this update out before spending a week or two on that guy.

There was this moment right near the end of finishing the sounds for the grasshopper fight where I was trying to time the sound effect to the face animations of Sooney, when I couldn't see her face properly and just had a thought... That it would be so much easier to have the camera at this moment, grasshopper perspective. So, I did, as an experiment..... It was one of those revelation moments...

... So I played the whole combat from a 2nd person perspective, and it worked really well. Then I set up a first-person camera for the spider fight, and again that worked really well also. Both gave the combat a whole different feel and could really see these 2 other perspectives appealing to various tastes. Imagine 2nd person combat from Sproutettes point of view or a first-person perspective against the crimson Queen.

How I imagine this working is having the 1st, 2nd, 3rd (Current) person perspectives being interchangeable during combat with a camera perspective button, depending on preference.

Anyway this is still a pretty new twist and I won't be implementing it until the main story is completed. But I am curious on feedback so I'll be setting up a poll to get an idea of how appealing this might be. :)
