I've just started the next Who Did It cartoon and I'm very excited for what I'll eventually have ready to show you all.
Right now I'm figuring out how to structure it all in a way where I can make episodes that are satisfying in their own right and sustainable to work on whilst telling a story with these characters.
I'm also playing around with art style, line art and colour schemes and all the rest of it. I really like the look of the Chipfork murders but the lines are too clean for the tone I'm now going for. Achieving a rougher but still fairly consistent line size is what I'm aiming for at the moment and have been experimenting with this morning.
Might try a softer less pixel sharp pen looking at it now.
Also, I've given the detective a redraw using a rougher pen and wobblier line. Much prefer this as it gives the lineart a more organic look to it.
Anyway, expect more posts as I work on the next Who Did it adventure! I'm probably going to jump onto making a couple of mini cartoons whilst doing this so expect a couple of different uploads between now and the new Who Did it?
