Monday, January 6, the kids were back in school and I was eager and happy to get back to the keyboard.
Tuesday, January 7, the kids were sick at home with 104-degree fevers.
Friday, January 10, the kids were back at school but then it was my turn to catch the flu.
Tuesday, January 14, I still have a 101-degree fever, get no sleep due to sweaty chills that make me change my shirt six times every night and soak the sheets, can barely breathe during the day, and I'm honestly wondering if I have COVID.
I want to write. I really do. I can just barely keep my eyes open right now.
