Honestly, both of these songs are contenders to make something bigger with in the future. I really like them both. I've been in the midst of a few remixes and other projects I can't share quite yet, but hopefully next week?
The Sept 22nd song (playing above) was something I just kind of sat down and noodled about for 20 minutes on Sunday evening. I cleaned it up today and sent it out the door :)
The Sept 25th song (attached below) is just playing with a chord shape that I have become obsessed with lately. Left hand plays the tonic and dominant. Right hand plays the 7th, 9th, 10th, and 12th. It just makes everything sound so smooth.
I'm really looking forward to the end of the year where I do a stream where I listen to ALL of these songs and arrange them into albums to make in 2025. I feel like even though the last of the Two Hour Track Challenge albums will be getting released, I'll have plenty of albums to schedule in the future.
It's kind of wild that at the end of 2022 I scheduled near-monthly album releases spanning into 2025 and (for the most part) I've kept to that.
I'll talk about it more in the monthly update next week I think, but I do feel that this setup is working pretty well for us? Let me know if you feel like you're missing out on anything <3
