Hey all! Happy April, the most important month of the year, because it's my birthday month.
Creatively, things are going all right. I've been making progress on a few projects and trying to get in touch with that momentum I lost back in December. It's slowly coming back.
I'm working on Quiet Spaces Vol 2 (attached the tentative cover art), which will be completely exclusive to subscribers. The album is about halfway done, so hopefully by the end of this month it'll be live.
I started a little game called Love What's Gone (attached gif), which will be a small narrative game featuring artwork from my friend JankHambrams. I really want to make more narrative and story games, so it's exciting to try making something like this. The biggest challenge here is to avoid scope creep. I want to do so much with this, but I also don't want it to consume a ton of development time.
I also started working on the How To Write A Song In Two Hours eBook. It's been something I've wanted to do for many years and I'm excited to finally be making headway on it!
Finally, I wanted to pass along some health issues I've encountered. You may remember I had a kidney stone back in September. Apparently I never really passed it and it's still in there. I have a minor procedure scheduled on April 18th to get it removed. I have a feeling that recovery from that might knock my week over so I'll try to get an extra 2HTC stream scheduled before the surgery.
Anyway, I hope you have a great month! It's going to be busy. Almost forgot that the community Two Hour Album Challenge and OST Jam are happening soon too!
I'm off to donate for some kitties 😻
