Whew. OK.
So our air conditioning died at the start of this month. Much like bringing an old car into a mechanic, we discovered MANY other things wrong with the house while diagnosing and replacing the AC unit.
This month has consisted mostly of making sure the house works as expect (and going in debt in the process 👍). Thankfully all that's sorted out now and I have a year to pay everything off, it's just so frustrating that life's thrown multiple curveballs this year. I guess that's what life does.
Having said that, we've been going strong with a lot of projects!
Two Hour Track Challenge, Season Fourteen was released today. I'm pleased to get that one out there, especially because it includes one of my favorite songs from the community chaos challenge: The Island is Alive.
I've been working on compiling all the songs that were received for the Tales from the Aftermath remix album. I'm hoping to finish processing everything this weekend and get that sent off to distribution. I'm really in love with the album art (attached).
I also started a new game called Darkness Sleeps. I haven't posted much about it yet but you can see a few early GIFs on this Twitter thread.
Otherwise, my next big project is to finish the album Infinity Loop. It's something I started over 3 years ago and I'm really looking forward to cleaning it up and getting it out there.
After that it's back to tackling Let the World Forget Us. I feel like I'm finally in a better mindset to take another shot at these songs. Hopefully I can get it done before the next November album in a month challenge happens 😅
