I am wiped out, man.
So, we had a HUGE dumping of snow here. Over the past 30 hours or so I've shoveled well over a foot of snow off the driveway. It's a great workout, but dang I'm exhausted.
On top of that, I've been struggling with some pretty heavy burnout related to music and game development. I want to jump into both of these, but I also want to insulate myself from getting too banged up. It's only the 5th day of the year after all.
I've pushed two albums to distro so far this year; The End of (Almost) Everything comes out in February and Season 16 comes out in March. I talked about my absolutely bonkers release schedule in my 2022 retrospective post.
Big task this month is to finish a commissioned project. It's a big opportunity for me, so imposter syndrome is getting into my head. Just gotta buckle down and do it.
Two Hour Album Challenge is happening next week so that'll be fun too.
Check out the 2022 retrospective if you haven't already, it covers a lot of ground. In the meantime, I'm gonna go make some donations!
Oh jeez, I gotta get my tax stuff together too. No time like the present!
