Less cat pictures this time around because I just got back from the gem show! My wife and I go there in February (aside from the past few years because of pandemic) to restock gems and stones for her business of jewelry making.
It was really nice to escape from the cold Minnesota winter to the deserts of Tucson, Arizona.
Holy cow was January busy.
On the music front, I pushed out two albums to distro. The End of [Almost] Everything came out a few days ago and Two Hour Track Challenge, Season 16 comes out next month! I plowed through a really tough commission and that's finally behind me as well. Next big project is to start working on Quiet Spaces, Vol 3 to be released in May.
On the game development front, I started a project called Raise the Dead for Fun and Profit for the Ludum Dare game jam. I want to fill this out into a more full game over the next few months. Not anything huge, but I love the concept and it has a lot of new gameplay elements and mechanics that I want to investigate.
There were a myriad of other little things too, but the vacation away from all this craziness was very welcome. I'm looking forward to slowly ramping back into things starting tomorrow with the weekly stream.
