Whew. July was tough. With the kittens being too young to explore the house properly, they spent the greater part of the month locked in the bedroom. So my wife slept in there with the babies and I slept on a blow-up mattress to make sure the other cats didn't feel ignored.
Thankfully, that is behind us now and things are getting a little bit more back to normal, but I'm struggling to find a lot of motivation to do anything right now. This year has been quite a drain on my creative energy and I'm feeling it. Though I am pretty sure that a lot of that is self-inflicted as well. I was the one that chose to release like 10 albums this year, after all.
Speaking of which, the Resonance remix album just went live a few days ago! It's pretty incredible what everyone did this time around and I'm so proud to be able to bring people together to make a cool thing.
Next album on the list to get released is Season 18 of the Two Hour Track Challenge. Gonna try to wrap that up this upcoming week so it can get released in September. After that is working on some original music for my next Cuddlecore album that I'm currently calling "Cozy". I have a few songs done with it already and I am really enjoying it. That's slated to come out in October if everything goes as planned.
I've definitely been feeling overwhelmed by all this. It's immensely satisfying to be putting out so much music and clearing out my creative backlog, but it's been a lot.
There's also been a lot more plans on how I am going to manage things in a post-2HTC world starting early 2024. I want to continue doing a song a week to continue to provide for your support on here, but I also want to take the time to focus on other hobbies like game development, writing, and woodworking.
I also have more albums backlogged that I want to work on. Honestly, I could be putting out an album a month until mid-2025 with all the things I want to do, but I think I need to slow down on that a bit.
Thanks, as always, for your wonderful support. I genuinely do appreciate it. I hope that you have a great day! Gonna donate for some kitties and get some more work done!
