September was absolutely wild. I compiled the Orphans album (coming out on Bandcamp tomorrow), I prepared Season 19 for release in November, and I also got a major update to Raise the Dead for Fun and Profit pushed out to Itch.
I also hit episode 403 with the Two Hour Track Challenge, meaning I officially have more episodes of my show than Bob Ross's Joy of Painting, which has been a massive goal for me for the past few years.
Having said that, I am officially ending the Two Hour Track Challenge project on January 20th, 2024. That would mark the 8 year anniversary of the project and a good time to move on to other things.
I'm still working on the details on what my weekly streams and this Patreon campaign will be in the future, but largely it'll remain the same. New song every week, early access to things I make, rights to use my music in your commercialized projects.
Mostly, right now I'm just having a big think on the changes to make sure I'm happy with them and they remain sustainable for me. Once I lock in the details, I'll have a bigger update.
The end of September was a bit rocky, allergies came after me and day job responsibilities took a lot of wind out of my sails. Recovering from burnout because I pushed hard on album prep and game development. It's getting better with time.
Big project this month is finishing up the Cozy album, which will come out in December. Also, I'm planning on repeating what I did last year and backlogging a bunch of 2HTC streams this month so I have November free solely to work on the album-in-a-month challenge.
This year's November album is planning on being much more chill and relaxed. Thinking about Silent Hill-inspired ambiences.
As always, I'm glad to have you on this journey with me! Off to donate to some kitties.
