DESCRIPTION

Greetings All!

Built around being versatile for both Martial and Magic classes, it has a versatility built into it so that it benefits both. I hope you get a kick out of it, as it shares a few characteristics with the Shard of Permafrost which is an old favorite of mine. Really enjoy things that make other abilities more exciting.

Let me know what you think and I hope your table gets some use out of it.

Updates: Minor effect clean up.

Truly, as always and ever sincerely, Thank You.

Description:

The crooked shape of this bronze and steel dagger is how it earned its unique name. It is edged with a light blue hued crystal that gently pulsates with energy as it pulls it from the air. This beautiful edged gemstone sparks with a lethal potential as lightning dances across the crystal. Waiting to unleash this pinnacle of nature’s fury in the right hands.

Tabs:

  • This Dagger can be used as a Spellcasting Focus.
  • On Hit, this Dagger deals an extra 1d4 Lightning damage.
  • Crooked Bolts: While holding the Dagger, any spell the user casts that deals Lightning damage deals 1 Extra Die of Lightning damage.
  • Streaking Bolt: As an Action, the user can point the weapon and Teleports along with the blade as a streak of lightning. This lighting forms a 60ft Long and 5ft Wide blast in a direction of the user's choice. Each creature in the line must make a DC:15 Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 6d6 Lightning damage (this cannot be affected by Crook Bolts) on a Failed Save or Half as much damage on a Success. The user then appears within 5ft of an unoccupied square along the path of the bolt. Once used, this feature cannot be used again until next Dawn.
