Ton-Ra wearing gold, a metal Halborians call “The useless metal.”
Halborians value things that has a functionality. Gold is too soft for tools, weapons and armor. Jewelry is not uncommon for Halborians, but gold they see as vile and gaudy. But other people around the world of He-Ron value gold as a dressing of the gods or a valuable metal. Some will ornate Ton-Ra, simply because of her beauty.
