Greetings all! We've reached an exciting turning point in the production line now that Dominoid has hit its public release. A few weeks ago you patrons got an early peek at the game, helping us to track down the last few bug fixes and refinements we needed before unveiling the game for everyone else. With just a little more polish, the finished build was published earlier this week, which will allow us to focus our attention on Trigger Treat fully in the coming months. DD will explain the adjustments and extras of the new Dominoid release in a moment, but first let's go over the progress I made on our Halloween hootenanny.
This month was quite a change for me too. The playable characters I've shown off in the past are required to follow a comparatively strict structure in order to slot into gameplay interchangeably, but I've recently moved on to other NPCs that can be animated in whatever way their personality calls for. These particular should stay in the same general spot, but the range of freedom I have is still greatly expanded. It was a ton of work to get them moving, but all the same a thrill to return to character animation which is my specialty. The effort was also great practice in establishing a workflow which should be applicable for enemies too. Characters like this will help to flesh out the game world and provide some exciting gameplay as well, but I'll hold off on explaining their mechanical function since we're fast approaching the Halloween season. You guys will get to experience the world of Trigger Treat firsthand before too long! DD and I will be discussing how to proceed next, so stay tuned for more frights to come.

DOMINOID released just a couple of weeks back, with you guys on Patreon getting the first sampling of it! We hope you've all been enjoying the game so far. All of the feedback that was provided during the testing phase helped shape the game immensely so we want to thank everyone who tried out the test builds.
Download the full version of DOMINOID by clicking here !
Be sure to grab the newest version of the game from itch.io - as it comes bundled with some additional goodies like wallpapers and an instruction booklet! (*The game also has some additional bug fixes regarding gamepad support.)
Julian was able to help out with Dominoid by painting these really great space backgrounds! Be sure to give the SPACE background set a try by changing it in the OPTIONS menu. We hope players also get creative and try making some of their own background packs, pieces, and sound effects. Let us know if you're able to clear LEVEL 10!
( Use the SMILES pieces if you have trouble reading the colors of the default pieces. )
( Try to take advantage of RINGS to free up space on the board if it's getting cramped. )
Thank you all for your continued support!
We're going to be working hard for the rest of the year on getting Trigger Treat moving, so stay tuned for future updates on that. We hope you all have fun playing Dominoid, and we are excited to bring you guys more games to play in the future!
We'll have more information on Trigger Treat in the next month here, and Julian will be back on Twitch doing his game development streams on Tuesdays and Thursdays - so be sure to tune in if you want to see what we're currently working on.
Have a good June everybody! Enjoy Dominoid!
