I'm back! This week's map is the Desert Rubble (50x50), a big ol' desert map with some crumbly ruins in the middle. And yes, I do wish I could name this one Desert Ruins but sadly I made a map by that name back in '23- lately I keep finding that I only have 3 different ways I name my maps, x ruins, x path, or forest x. Anyway, that's not really relevant right now, this is a desert map and it's big and full of rocks, ruins, and sand- please enjoy.
On a different note, how are you all liking these desert maps? I've honestly been having a hard time drawing them since I've struggled to draw the big rocky ledges in a way that feels appropriately desert-y, drawing and redrawing these things has become how I spend more and more of my time these days. Despite that, there's something about them that feels very satisfying- the simple lighting and colors are very appealing to me. I'm happy to make a few more as long as you're not collectively waiting politely for me to stop, I've got a couple more in me so I'd love to hear your thoughts!
