July 2026 AMA Post!
Thank you all for the questions, I didn't expect to get so many! I've been excited to do this, so I'll start it today:
Q: What inspired you to start doing animations?
Seeing other creators doing 3D animations, I didn't even know I had a size fetish, I was just very fixated on it. I would always imagine what fun size animations would look like, so I decided to give it a go myself!
Q: How’d you get started? Did you have any experience with art beforehand?
I started out with Source Filmmaker. It's a pretty easy (relatively) software to get into, especially if you're already experienced with video game-y type systems and are willing to watch a few tutorials and follow along. Valve has official tutorials for SFM, so it was a huge help on-boarding me in. I did SFM for a few years before eventually switching over to Blender, and I've been there ever since!
Q: How do you get your sound effects for growing and shrinking?
The internet, mostly! A lot of my earlier sound effects were sourced from freesound.org, but my newer sounds I get from other creators, specifically Expandinator has been a huge help with saucy audios.
Q: Do you plan on doing more animations with pitch shifted voices? It feels like a rarer and rarer thing to find in shrinking content nowadays, like a lost art.
Yes! This next animation with Elphelt features shrinking, and she will get very squeaky as usual. It's one of my favorite aspects of people getting shrunk, so I always try to include it.
(Big agree, more people should be squeaky.)
Q: What got you into these specific scenarios for your animations (shrinking, giantess, etc)? How did you come up with your OCs?
Probably just exposure of seeing it in cartoons and formative media, I can't pin it to anything specific.
I take everything from my favorite characters and mash them into one! I put a lot of time and planning into making a fun and thematic design. (i.e. Callie from Splatoon 2 resulted in Addison, Ema Skye from Ace Attorney 4 resulted in Yunako. Jane didn't really have a big inspiration, just a lot of design cues I enjoy.)
Q: I'm a big fan, particularly of your growth animations. Do you have any influences as far as your animation style and general tone/humor? And what made you get into doing these more elaborate scenarios?
Thank you! I get a lot of my tone and humor from the media I'm watching or playing at the time. I play a lot of Splatoon and Guilty Gear which have very vibrant and expressive tones, so I take a lot from that.
My scenarios come from a lot of "what would be the most fun, but achievable within my own skill set?", trying to do as much as I can just from myself. I typically plan everything out with a script first, and take into account how I would do it before I decide it's final.
Q: How do you end up deciding which characters to work with, usually? What're your favorite sizes to work with? Also thanks again for making such good work!! Looking forward to the Elphelt!
Usually, it's whatever media I'm fixated on at the time. If they have a 3D model, I'll go look for one. Sometimes, I just want to put a scenario to an animation quickly, so I'll use Fortnite models because they're incredibly simple and optimized for 3D animation. I hate Fortnite, though, so it won't be as often anymore. Say no to AI developers!
And thank you for letting me make such good work!! I'm excited too!
Q: Magic Potions or High Tech Ray guns?
Ray guns, always.
Q: Do you ever think about doing other characters like Zelda (Breath of the wild/Tears of the kingdom), The Mario Princesses, Or any of the street fighter girls In these size scenarios? (Mostly shrinking)
Zelda's unlikely. Her age is BotW is definitely off-limits for me, and it's still a bit wonky in TotK, so I don't have plans for her. The Mario princesses I simply don't have any interest in, although some renditions of Daisy I like. I actually have been getting into Street Fighter, but I'm not incredibly familiar with all the characters yet. Shout out in the replies if you want to see size animations with SF6 Juri Outfit 3 or something.
Q: Do you have any favorite anthropomorphic animal characters that you would like to see involved in size change stuff?
I don't know any, really. I'd like to make furry content, though!
Q: An AMA? Hmmm... You like FF7?
I played a little bit of the original, maybe like a couple hours. It's alright, but I'd rather play Dragon Quest 11, Octopath Traveler, or Yakuza 7!
And that's all for this AMA! Hopefully this could give you some insight on how I operate and what might be to come in the future! Shout out in the comments if you'd like me to do more in the future, I'm definitely open to it. Thank you! :)
