Now that all the System Reference Document (SRD) content from the 2024 Player's Handbook (PHB) is done, what do you think should get priority for the v24 sheet?
The sheets will stay in beta until all the SRD content is done, of which only the magic items remain. However, I expect that subclasses are more pressing than magic items, but I might be wrong. This is why I am coming to you to decide.⠀
Once all the magic items from the SRD are transcribed, the sheet will come out of beta.⠀
The only part that is still missing from the 2024 Player’s Handbook are the subclasses that are not part the System Reference Document.⠀
Another thing that I could focus on next, is getting all the legacy content working in the 2024 sheets. With “legacy content” I’m referring to material from 5e sourcebooks that has not been reprinted for the 2024 rules. For example, the School of Necromancy subclass for the wizard, which appears in the 5e PHB, but not in the 2024 PHB.
As all this content has already been transcribed for the 5e (2014) sheet, it is a matter of determining which should and which shouldn’t be made available for the 2024 sheet, as well as updating some old syntax and removing things that are no longer applicable in the 2024 rules (e.g. ability score increases from race).⠀
Content not mentioned in this poll will come later. Not necessarily after everything in this poll is done, but certainly after whatever wins this poll has been completed.
If you are looking for WotC publications that came out after the 2024 PHB, I can recommend checking out the fan-made add-on scripts. Those add-on scripts should work with the 2024 sheet without issue as it is fully backwards-compatible.
