Poll: What to Transcribe Next? (part 2)

DESCRIPTION

You get to decide what's next for the 2024 sheets. There's plenty left on the to-do list, so help me pick what should be at to the top of that list.

"PHB Subclasses" were the clear winner from the previous "What to Transcribe Next" poll. With all of those now done, I'm again coming to you for advice.

This is referring to the 469 magic items from the Dungeon Master Guide, which include all the 368 magic items from the System Reference Document (SRD).

The sheets will stay in beta until all the SRD content is done, of which only the magic items remain.

Another thing that I could focus on next, is getting all the legacy content working in the 2024 sheets. With “legacy content” I’m referring to material from 5e sourcebooks that has not been reprinted for the 2024 rules. For example, the School of Necromancy subclass for the wizard, which appears in the 5e PHB, but not in the 2024 PHB.

As all this content has already been transcribed for the 5e (2014) sheet, it is a matter of determining which should and which shouldn’t be made available for the 2024 sheet, as well as updating some old syntax and removing things that are no longer applicable in the 2024 rules (e.g. ability score increases from race).

This should be a relatively quick process, as the v24 sheet is fully backwards compatible and I have no intentions of rewriting all the content that has already been transcribed.

The 8 subclasses, 18 backgrounds, 34 feats, 19 spells, and 2 magic items from Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerûn.

The artificer class and its 5 subclasses, 17 backgrounds, 28 feats, 5 species, 1 spell, and 9 magic items from Eberron: Forge of the Artificer.

But beware, the artificer class will miss some essential class features if the sheet doesn't include any magic items.

The 7 subclasses, 4 backgrounds, 11 feats, 4 species, and 2 magic items from Ravenloft: The Horrors Within.

Content not mentioned in this poll will come later. Not necessarily after everything in this poll is done, but certainly after whatever wins this poll has been completed.

If you are looking for WotC publications that came out after the 2024 PHB, I can recommend checking out the fan-made add-on scripts using the Community Add-On Script Index. Those add-on scripts should work with the 2024 sheet without issue as it is fully backwards-compatible.
