Hello. I hope everyone is doing well on this Wednesday. It's getting a bit warmer up in this bitch. A whole 4 degree Celsius. Nice.
We keep going with the same two projects. It's a bit weird compared to a few months ago when I needed to juggle with four projects at the same time. A lot more manageable, that's for sure. I just fear I might get too lazy.
The Edge Of – Definitive Edition
So I have almost everything I need. The problem is that the thing that is missing is unfortunately going to take a few weeks before I get my paws on it. It's the voice acting. I'm only going to receive the voice lines at the end of the month (around the 25th). I have everything else though. We're starting Beth's perspective, which is exciting. Though the first update will be mostly setting up the story from her perspective.
I will release a 20k words update though to get to the more interesting part faster. I don’t know if I will be able to keep up this pace though since this story, compared to my most recent ones, is much more compact. So we have a lot of things going on in very little time. I will try my best, but since I also need animations and voice acting, maybe next month will be slower. Dunno.
The Edge Of – Definitive Edition will release at the end of the month. In the last few days, in fact. Let's say the 27th for now.
He Maid Her Fall
He Maid Her fall will then release first. It will still take some time since the updates are now 20k words. I have everything I need for it. For now, everything is manageable in term of assets, mainly because I took a break while still paying my artists. But we'll see. Now I only have one animator, so it is a bit stressful.
I will aim for the 17th. I don't think I will need more time. He Maid Her Fall is slowly getting in its third act so the action should ramp up. Hopefully, it's not as bad as I remember it to be.
The two project that I'm writing
While I'm here, might as well give a few updates when it comes to the upcoming fantasy and NTS projects.
For the NTS project, I commissioned my artist to draw the cover. I'm not sure if I'm going to use it though. I don't have a good idea for it just yet, but I feel like it would be good to have the cover now. The writing is going… alright. I'm satisfied with what I've written up until now, but the most difficult part is right after. NTS is not my cup of tea, so I want to focus on what I think I'm good at.
For the fantasy project, I've already shared the sprite on the discord, so I should share it here as well. This is the second heroine for the fantasy project. Her name is Finaya.
I have now three sprites ready. But I need a lot more. Which makes the entire process kind of slow. We still have a few months before He Maid Her Fall and the Edge Of is completed, so I won't stress too much. At least it gives me a lot of time to get the writing done.
I'll share with you guys more about both projects as I get more assets.
