First day of the month, more work on the docket. Let's go one at a time, once again.
He Maid Her Fall
It's a bit frustrating. I realized while putting everything together that I won't be able to realize a big update for He Maid Her Fall this month either. It will probably be around 17k words. But what's more frustrating is the fact that all the CGs I had accumulated will be used for this update. After this, I will be at the mercy of the pacing of my artist/animator.
I guess it's the price to pay for having a single artist on a project + being at the end of the story, where a lot of action happen in very little time.
The silver lining is that I have everything, at least. So a release around the middle of the month should be feasible.
I'll say the 16th of June, simply because it was the 16th two months in a row. Third time the charm, I guess.
The Edge Of – Definitive Edition
What a difficult project to keep up with right now. Usually, my side project would be 10k words a month, but I'm in a hurry to complete this. I see very little excitement for this project. Still, I have to do it properly, and that's a hard thing to do with limited time on my hands.
This update will reach the end of the original version, and then next month, we'll start the new content. The new content is around 30k words, so while I hope it's only 2 updates, it might stretch to three (because I don't have all the artwork yet).
While I have all the CGs for this particular update, I don't have all the animations. I think it will be feasible to have them all by the end of the month, but who knows. I've sent the voice lines to the voice actress at least. All I can say is it's going to be tight.
Like last month, I'll aim for the 27th. Though my voice actress is often late by a day or two, so expect it maybe a bit later.
Fantasy Project
My other artist is still working hard on the sprites. Today I can show you two new sprites. They are the last two members of Varnel's party. Ravyn (left) and Thuren (right).

After this, we'll be able to start slowly on CG and other side character sprites. It's a lot of work. More than it seems. I also need to start hiring a background artist for the background, and probably a GUI artist for the game menu when I have the cover.
As for the writing, it's moving. Slowly, but moving. It's harder to write than the other project I'm currently writing. I would ask you guys to tamper your expectations, but I don't expect anyone to listen to me.
NTS Project
I have nothing to show right now. The artist is working hard on He Maid Her Fall, and we cannot afford to work on the NTS assets at the moment. I'll let you guys know whenever I have something new.
As for the writing, it's going fine. I'm more than 100k words in the story, which is usually when I start developing a game, but I can't do that at the moment. So I'll keep going. That's all I can really do anyway.
I am, after all, a workaholic, very lazy purple cat.
And with this, I'll see myself out. I'm going to start working now.
