I forgot to post this back on June 3rd, but I’ve officially entered the 4th season of my life!! And it feels like my journey has only just begun!
I’ve always loved animation and dreamed of working on it every day. For the longest time though, I never had the chance, or rather, I wasn’t brave enough to seriously consider doing it for a living. The urge was always there… I just wasn’t ready yet.
Back in 2012–2017, I started working part-time on Wuffle Comics (you can read it here). I wanted to see if I could make a living through comics. The plan didn’t really work out, and I struggled for a while. But I’m so grateful to all my old fans who kept reminding me how much Wuffle meant to them ❤️
During that time, I continued taking freelance video game projects and illustration commissions. Even then, the desire to make cartoons never faded. I kept testing my self-taught animation skills with various re-animation projects (watch some of them here).
While those collaborations were fun, I eventually realized I really wanted to create my own cartoons.
The urge became too strong to ignore, so in late 2020 I took on some animation commissions (watch them here). Those were the happiest five months of that year! I was solely focused on animation. That’s when I finally understood it was possible for me to make my own short cartoons. I knew my speed, my timing, and my process.
That realization is what led me to open this Patreon, to finally make my own cartoons!

And now here we are with the star himself, Hank Howell of Bun Hunting!
Fast forward six years later, and I’ve never regretted this decision. We now have so many cartoons and comics projects waiting to be made and none of this would be possible without all of your support.
It’s never too late to start something you love. ❤️
