When you feel like warming up before your next big project (cough Bun Hunting 3 cough), sometimes you just have to unrust your skills a bit. And what better way than studying the drawing frames of one of the greatest animation masters: Milt Kahl!
Milt Kahl was one of Disney’s top animators during the golden age. People always praise his incredible draftsmanship, but what I love most is his brilliant sense of acting and how clear every pose is. You can instantly tell exactly what the character is doing and feeling from just one drawing!
Today’s subject: King Leonidas from Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I honestly remember almost nothing from the movie except that live-action/animated hybrid segment XD
And of course… this poor cheetah...
