𝐁𝐔𝐍 𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 3 ✧ Board Retakes ✧ THE KABOOM! 🐺💥🐰

Bun Hunting 3 is back in pre-production, everyone!

Today I’ve been revisiting the storyboard and doing some retakes before we jump into the recording session!

SCENE 4: THE FALLS

Originally, Hank chases Billy and gets tripped by Fluffy (the small rabbit), sending him flying off a cliff. He crashes, shatters into pieces, and the other rabbits celebrate their victory over the Big Bad Wolf… until Billy casually walks in, sweeps up the pieces, and strolls away.

The problem with the old version was that it felt too long and dragged a bit, with not enough gags. So I tightened it up!

Avoid it if you don't want to see any spoiler!

SCENE 4: RETAKES!

Now it starts with Hank floating in the air after he misses Billy. Then we cut to Jumpy (the crazy rabbit) holding a rope covered in dynamites, waiting for Hank to fly through it.

Hunky (the buff rabbit) and Nerdy (the glasses rabbit) are waiting ahead. They pull open a bush to reveal the cliff. Hank slowly flies past with dynamites strapped to him and calmly falls off the edge XD

A little tribute to classic Chuck Jones slowly gags timing!

Billy rushes in trying to save him, but it’s too late! Hank falls with that signature annoyed face… then KABOOM!! He explodes midway before we fade to the next scene XD

SCENE 4: RETAKES - DONE!

There you go! ❤️ This new version feels much sharper, tighter, and has fewer shots to animate (don’t tell anyone how I cheated the scene 🤫)

I also want to do some retakes for Scene 5: Finale soon. I’ll keep you updated!

But for now, I’m just so happy to be back making cartoons with full energy again!
