Another year in the books.
As I mentioned in the feedback post last month, this year saw me shifting to doing a lot more fanart again, and you can see it reflected in the picks above. I drew a bunch of vtubers, ZZZ characters, pokemon, azur lane, etc. And tons of boobies. Honestly, not enough booty.
Also, to help cover bills, I started doing a bunch of colored sketch commissions, and those were getting better and better to a point where with a bit more polish they could work as bespoke pieces, so I tried some. They're not as fancy as the fully rendered lineart pieces, but they're not that far off, and they have some flexibility to them that was interesting to play with. They let me do a few more pieces than I otherwise would've been able to do, and I thought they were reasonably successful. I wanna experiment more with it next year, and see if I can keep a slightly higher output volume. I still wanna do full lineart pieces, but I'll probably reserve it for the higher effort ideas.
I don't need to tell you how bad of a year this was. I hope you all managed to hang in there. I really appreciate all the replies to the feedback post, and all the comments and shares, and those who've hung out with me on streams and on discord. It's been tough keeping a solid mental state sometimes - even now, as I write this, I feel exhausted - but I hope things get better next year.
In slightly different news, I'm just about to be done with my favorites of the year post, that I'm writing over on my website. I meant to have it finished by today but it's just a little too late, and I'm too tired to keep pushing. I will have it finished tomorrow and probably make a post here about it, for those interested in reading it. In it, I gush about all the anime, manga, movies, games, and music I enjoyed in 2025. If you enjoy that kinda thing, check it out when I post it. :)
