now this one was super fun to work with... just animating the sketch wip was fun.
i hardly opt for using the same frame and just lasso-tooling things to look animated instead of simply redrawing it but i felt like the keeping everything "smooth" lineart wise wouldve looked best for the prompt which was essentially 'floating, overwhelmed with power, and theres soul-fire surrounding'
i was also ambitious with the wings, my commissioner told me that i didnt need to animate them or to do it minimally or twitching (WHICH- I KINDA DID!) but they seemed so fun and added so much to the animation i decided to not only make them float offbeat with the characters floating frames- but also have them twitch individually :-}the fire was its own fun thing to figure out. i definitely struggle with making flames move fluidly so it was alot of different layer (THANK GOD FOR THIS) trial and error. im very happy with them though!
