I'm team Canary now.
Basically all I knew about Black Canary was that it was actual canon for a while that she was her own mother (look it up).
Alright, I knew more than that. But I didn't have much direct experience with the character. So then I went and read the original Birds of Prey run from the 90 - 2000's. Which is well over 100 issues, btw (that's a thing that used to happen in comics.)
Needless to say, I'm smitten. I don't believe this will be nearly the last time I draw Ms. Lance.

It's one of my favourites.
I've been itching to get back to my older flat colouring style. I would like to try and find some happy middle ground. Some softer rendering, with highlights, but still letting the ink do most of the talking.
