As I told you, when I finished Belle's artwork, my pen display stopped working. I went to a place where I could get it fixed, but unfortunately, the person repairing it said there wasn't much he could do. I had no choice but to buy a new one. 😭
The good notice is that I could buy a new one with no problem, the bad notice is that it will arrive until monday, in the meantime I'm drawing with my old drawing tablet, a wacom intuos comic. I'm not gonna lie, I've been having bad days working with it, the pressure on the pencil is really bad, even if I press the pen to the tablet with all my strenght so the lines are much thiner than usual. you might notice in this sketch how the trace is more light and with more errors than usual, I also spent too much time correcting a lot of lines because the tablet isn't reading correctly the traces 😭
But even with all of this I can't blame my old tablet, it already has more than ten years since I bought it. On the contrary, I must be grateful, if I hadn't found it or if it stopped working, right now I would be panicking or huddled in a corner of my room without knowing what to do.
I bought my pen display in 2021, and since then I'd gotten quite used to drawing on the screen, so going back to drawing on a tablet while looking at another screen is proving quite difficult. That's why I want to apologize in advance 🙇🙇; it might take me a little longer than expected to finish this work, I'll do my best and as soon as the new pen display arrives I know I'll be working at 100% of my capacity
