Peaceful are the fields in the beginnings of April, whose showers let forth the bright blossoming colors of the flowers in full bloom. It was spring, and after a long autumnal season followed by an even longer winter's frost the ground had at last thawed, and the ever moving wheel of life had clicked into its next stage. The world was beautiful and anew, as though totally reborn, and two lovers found themselves impassioned by the splendor about them. To they, nothing could be wrong, for in each other were found all the delights of the realm about them, and in each other they would find true peace, true happiness, and indeed the tranquility of belonging to another.

These are some of my favorite kinds of pieces to work on, really gentle and sweet artworks with a more tender spirit to them. It's been a long while since I was able to express something like this between work on other projects, and so I'm thankful to the raffle winner for giving me the chance to work at that with this piece, and indeed to do a follow up to older works and concepts between their OC and my own (Ethelfled, the smaller feline). Please use She/Her for the larger feline, thank you! Also, I've realized that in my rush to do everything last month I lapsed on publishing the raffle piece from March to the Patreon, it is available on all the usual sites I post to, but if y'all want I can post it to here for posterity, to keep everything all in one place! Also, bonus points to anybody who calls out the art piece this one is referencing, it's an oldie but a goodie.
Anywho, from here I'm gonna get to really cracking at the monthly piece, I'm hoping to have it complete sometime in the next few days, I don't know if I'll be doing much writing for it but I'm pretty excited to be finishing it up, as it's a cute one. Hopefully y'all have been having a lovely month.
